Seems like my viper went poof... The led light still work, but when I turn it on it just gets me to the original gc bios, and I can't use the USB to reflash the chip either since it doesn't find any chip. I just resoldered it, still not working... Would the Led light on the chip still work even if the chip itself is broken? I don't know why it would've broken either... I just turned the gc off and put in a different game, then I got the gc screen. Thanks for any help
hmm... after further investigation it seems the bios broke. 2nd question, is there any way to unflash a viper chip? though, I'm still thinking about it being broken, cause the ribbon cable doesnt work either... ugh. I might aswell just buy a new chip, they're pretty cheap
