I don't think there was a need to do an autoscan for Virgin 1 it comes in on FTN.

If you delete it and rescan on that frequency it renames the channel and gives you the proper EPG PID. Same scenario as LFCTV last week.

You could do that alright or you could just rename it yourself that's all I did and the correct info comes up on the EPG without the rescan.

I can't do a rescan cos I had to manually tune in some channels and when I do an auto scan it loses the manual channels I have put in

Are you in the UK or Ireland and what is your provider. FTN was the name of the channel before V*r*i* took it over.

Sorry are you on Telepest, N** or ex C**. Where abouts in Scotland are you? Why do you have to manually scan certain channels will a normal power scan mess things up? If you give me all the info I will see what I can do. Are you just trying to fimd one channel?

When I originally got my eurovox there were certain channels missing and the only way I could get them was to manually tune them in after being given the frequency. I have Virgin (old NTL) cable. I was just trying to get the frequency for the new Virgin 1 channel - I suppose I could live without it - but being a woman like to see new channels.

    Thanks for your swift reply

No problem you should already have two channels called FTN and FTN+1, these have now become V and V+1 all you have to do is rename them no need for any sort of scan.

No problem not sure if Virgin central is the same as I am from Ireland. But I do know as I said that both the FTN channels have just been renamed.
