Agreed. If one wants to 'play' with movies, one should have: - the DivX (at least the shareware version, to decompress) and Xvid codecs or - FFDShow (only to read AVIs, not to compress the movies into AVI form)
It's got nothing to do with using virtualdub...it's got to do with whatever codec is in that crap movie you downloaded.
