I tried to cut a scene from a 80mb avi file, a scene that makes up maybe 1/3 of the movie at the most and after converting that scene to avi it was over 2gigs big!?! Can someone please tell me how I can maintain the originals size without any major hits to quality?

Go up to Video and select "Direct Stream Copy", then go to Audio and select the same thing.

    Problem solved. Enjoy!
