When I load a movie file up this message appears: "Virtualdub has detected an inproper VBR audio encoding in the source avi file (audio stream 1) the current preference is to rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatibility this may introduce up to 1035 ms of skew from the video stream if this is unacceptable decompress the entire audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder (bitrate 119.0 + 12.3 kbps)" How exactly do I solve this problem? I read on another thread (here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/125180) instructions on how to do it, but it states that I need to rip the audio in full processing mode, and when I do I get this message: 'Error initalizing audio stream decompression: The requested conversion is not possible. Check to make sure you have the required codec.' Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well it is Telling you that you have VBR MP3 audio in your AVI File and it is also telling you that you do not have a Mpeg-3 audio codec installed which you probably do but V-Dub can not Find it.... If you use this Tool it will decompress the audio in your AVI file so you don"t get that error in V-Dub.... http://www.megaupload.com/?d=J7HNW11I This Tool will Only work if you have a MP3 codec installed so if it doesn"t work for you then you Know why....If you Install "FFDShow Decoder" and Configure it to decode Mp3 audio then you will have the Correct codec installed....
