Virtual dub ==TMGenc Lock up PLEASE READ

    I followed instructions and got virtual dub. I dubbed all my movies using the settings i was told to follow. Now when u use TMGEnc it locks up after like 5 minutes of coding. IT was working fine before i dont wanna re get all the movies is their any way i ca undub the movies, or is their a fix for this problem

    What did you do with VirtualDUB?

    I basically just used it followed instructions that were posted, ummm i did direct stream cpy i think for video, and then the other setting for audio lol i dunno but its wut i was told to follow, let me see if i can find it and post it.

    1. open the AVI in VirtualDub
    2. click video - direct stream copy
    3. click audio - full processing mode
    4. click audio - compression. select no compression pcm and click ok!
    5. click file - save as AVI, now try the AVI u save with TMPGEnc!

    Also Check to make sure you have the right settings in TMPGEnc go to Option>Environmental Setting> VFAPI plugin

    Riskyplay, go back to the vfapi plug-in tab and right click directshow multimedia filereader and click higher priority and do it till its priority is 2 and its at the top of the list!

    I have it set to number 1 right now, so u say 2?

    Try encoding it... does it still freeze up? Perhaps it might be background applications (antivirus, eMule, BT)

    Riskyplay, change it to 2. Then try to encode!
