    I am very confused and would be grateful if someone was able to help me out.

    using virtual dub

    I am able to split my avi files into 2 seperate movies, however, the first movie is fine, with full audio, but the second part does not have any at all. This is soooooo frustrating, if anyone has any clues as to what ot do then PLEASE help

    Are you using Direct Stream Copy? Also check you have Audio->Avi Audio

    Remember: Split only at KEY Frame. You can see it in [K] symbol after time.
