Hi Vatoz 256 ram 80 gig hard drive 70 gig free I have tried to sort this out but I am unsure if I am right. under virtual memory help in xp there is a tab which can let me alter the virtual memory settings it is currently set so that the computer and background services use most of the virtual memory I can set it so that programs get the most do you think this is right? Thanks for your help mcdm
