Could someone pls tell me why is that when I split an avi file into 2 parts with (virtualdub or virtualdubmod), the first part is always ok but the second part always has audio out of sync. What causes this? I tried skewing it but it starts well and it goes out of sync towards the end. Thanks!
try this...... open AVI with VirtualDub, select Video=direct stream copy, audio=full processing mode, then above that interleaving = every 1ms. Then save the file 'as AVI'. The resulting file will be bigger than the original due to not having compressed audio. This file should then chop ok.
Thanks Messa, tried that but still the same problems.. the audio begins to go out of sync from the middle part of the movie and gets worse towards the end.
Try VirtualDUBMOD, better audio support or nandub! VirtualDUB MOD http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/virtualdubmod.cfm
I'm not sure where to get nandub i mentioned it because its usually distributed if a divx/xvid file needs fixing by a group for sync problems or something! Try searching for it on p2p!
Dela, guess what... Nandub did the job. I set both video and audio to direct stream copy and it work! sync problem is solved. Thanks for your help.
I had a feeling that it could work because, its alwasys issued for sync fixes with releases and stuff!!
