VirtualDub codec error VFW

    I am trying to use VirtualDub with Windows .avi files. I get an error message:

    "Couldn't locate a decompressor for format 'dvsd' (unknown). VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video."

    Help please.

    Get gspot from the software section of this site and it will tell you what codecs you need for the movie!
