Hi I am having a problem with my daughters PC it logs on fine,and goes line, however when the PC comes on the Mircosoft internet explorer page keeps coming on, this happens even when we are on line. I have been told it could be a virus or a dialer program. well I have used avast, i have used other virus checks, i have run ad-aware, spybot, nothing has stopped it I have tried to do a system restore and that won't work so I have come to the end of my knowledge and don't know what to do next. The pc is networked to mine and I have no problem, both PC's did have a virus which was removed, help please
When IE opens does it redirect to a site other than your set homepage? Download HijackThis. Create a folder for it and extract the file there. Open HijackThis.exe and "Do a system scan and save a log file". Post that log here.
