I got a quick question for ya one of the guys went from Iremand to Canada on some USIT type work visa, right before christmas. Himself and friends couldn't get positions over there and have in the past week gone to Australia. He now needs to arrange a visa? Any one come across this before? Any chance he can easily arrange one over there for himself? apreciate any replies Thanks magnetic
I would think that contacting the Australian Consulate/Embassy in the country of his origin which I'm guessing is Ireland, is a good place to start. I'm also assuming that he's in Australia on a visitor's visa and now needs to have it altered to a visa which affords him the opportunity to get a work permit which he probably can't do legally on a visitor's visa. Alternatively, though not cost effective, he could see an Immigration lawyer in Australia about this.
