Hi I tried WMP and Powerdvd to get surround sound via coax from my new computer but no joy. Then I was told to try VLC player and I managed to get surround sound working. But the problem is the centre speaker volume is low. I have tried putting the volume up in the prefrences and from my reciever but this doesnt really work. Any suggestions? or even another media player I could try? bearing in mind I have tried couple of others but the sound was only from the front 2 speakers and not DTS. Many thanks.
