DVD BURNING QUESTION RE: MESSAGE FILE VIDEO_TS.VOB is not referenced and should not be present. DVD-Video files reallocation failed. 1. I am ripping a DVD Documentary with Special Features, Trailers etc. 2. All copies well EXCEPT the AUDIO for the MAIN feature. 3. I took a second look at the original DVD. 4. 60 files rip with DVDFab HDDecrypter 5. 61 files rip with DVD Decrypter 6. The 61st file is one of the first three files. Two are 24 K and the missing one is 114K The three files are VIDEO_TS BUP File present 24K VIDEO_TS IFO File present 24k VIDEO_TS vob file missing 114k 7. When I attempt to Backup the DVD Decrypter 61 files using Nero Express the messages FILE VIDEO_TS.VOB is not referenced and should not be present. & DVD-Video files reallocation failed. appear. 8. When I attempt to Backup the DVD Decrypter 61 files using DVD Shrink the burn process is once again successful, however, upon playing the finished burned DVD the same problem persists - no audio on the main feature. Have you also encountered this, and if so, how did you solve this DVD burning problem? NOTES: I have DVD Free and did run the complete VIDEO_TS file through this Utility. The total file size is 4.15G. Technically, DVD Shrink is not needed. THANKS e-mail address removed by herbsman
Hi TedYarrow, First things first please remove your email from your thread this is not allowed here at AD. Second try running the files you ripped to your hard drive thru FixVTS this should fix your problems. Then go ahead and give Nero or Shrink a try again. FixVTS Download
