vob on cd-r

    my dvd player does not play vcd and i dont have a dvd burner, i was wondering if ther was a way to put the files of a dvd in to a cd-r and have it play in the dvd player (with less quality ofcourse)

    putting video files on a cd to play on a dvd player means making either a video cd or super-video cd, but if you dvd player doesn't play vcd's, then your s-o-l unfortunately.

    You won't even be able to read the DVD on your CD-only burner much less be able to convert it. At best, you can play the VOB files on the PC with a PC-based DVD player if you can somehow manage to copy the files onto your hard drive.
