Hi ! Im new here and I must say I love your forums I hope this is the right section for this I just have one question that I wanted to get off my mind regarding DVD ripping. I just want to know what are the advantages/disadvantages of The ff: Converting a DVD VOB file to a standard MPEG2 file using Womble vs. Converting a DVD VOB file to DivX or Xvid Avi file The first option is quicker I assume, as I have read one of your guides on this forum. I just want to know what are the differences if I convert the said DVD video to DivX or Xvid rather than just renaming it to MPEG and such. The second option converting it to DivX or Xvid would take a long time but its what I have been doing so far, Id like to try the first option out but could it be better? Thanks for your time
