Ok, I've got non-encrypted DVDs that I've recorded using my DVD Recorder. Is there a way to rip them to somthing that can modify them so that I can then re-burn them?

By modify, I take it that you want to edit them?

Demux the video streams from your vobs using your favourite tool - vobedit, vobrator... can't think of another one right now, but there are many other vob demultiplexors around. You'll end up with the video and audio streams.

Otherwise, you can process the vobs via dvd2avi and then frameserve it via the VFAPI converter. You can then read the psuedo avi it generates into editors like Premiere.
