Hi, I'm trying to fit 4 700mb files on a DVD using VSO! Uh but when I put it in it says it will take up 4.9 gb! How can I make it fill up less space on a DVD? Just a little bit!! Enough to fit on a DVD!
You Probably can"t....Under the "Encodeing " settings it says "Target Size" and if you have this set to "DVD-5" and your Files come out still to big to fit on a DVD then it is Because you are Trying to Fit too much Video on a DVD.... Also the Quality of trying to put that much Video on a DVD useing this program is not going to be Very Good... Also It doesn"t matter how big your AVI files are what Matters is How long they are and you can only Fit about 3 hours on a DVD before the Quality gets awefull... I just Tried to encode a File to DVD useing ConvertX2DVD at it"s Lowest Bitrate settings and the Quality was Pretty Bad and Blocky (1800kbs at 720x480 just looks Bad)... So if you want to use this Program you are going to have to put less Video on a DVD...Try Putting 2 on each DVD that way the Quality will be Good... You could use something like "DVD-Shrink" to Compress the files even more but that will Impact the allready Crappy quality movie.... You could Put all 4 Files on to DVD and Still have Pretty Good Quality but you would have to use a Longer and more Complex Method useing a couple different Programs....... Good Luck
