Forgive me if this is not the right forum and redirect me. This was the only one I found related to Divx type info. I am attempting to convert Quicktime .mov files to DVD-Video compliant format which the program indicates it can do. When I open the newly created Video-TS file with Shrink32 and preview the file, the sound trails the image by quite a bit. I looked at the divxtodvd log and saw the delay of audio and buffer underflow etc but have no idea if I can control any of this as VSO DivxToDvd seems very basic and not 'adjustable' Any ideas? I am brand new to trying this although I have used Shrink and Dvd Decrypter to back up some of my dvds the grandkids use. my log: 5/20/2007 1:40:39 AM info ******************** Report session closed ********************* 5/20/2007 12:53:41 AM info Delay of audio #0 = -174 mS (Advance) 5/20/2007 12:53:41 AM info Returned Frame Aspect Ratio : 1.3333 5/20/2007 12:53:41 AM info Stream#1 - Audio: pcm_mulaw, 16000 Hz, mono, 128 kb/s 5/20/2007 12:53:41 AM info Stream#0 - Video: mpeg4, 640x480, 11.43 fps 5/20/2007 12:53:41 AM info Found 2 Stream(s) - movie duration 00:01:25.790 5/20/2007 12:53:41 AM info Input file "C:\Documents and Settings\old fart\Desktop\test file\pool time.mov" 5/20/2007 12:53:37 AM info conversion completed in 00:01:30 5/20/2007 12:53:37 AM warning Due to frame rate conversion, 981 frames have been duplicated. 5/20/2007 12:53:37 AM info Avg. quantization factor 0.0 (smaller is best) 5/20/2007 12:52:07 AM info MSG Level #0 - rc buffer underflow 5/20/2007 12:52:07 AM info MSG Level #0 - rc buffer underflow 5/20/2007 12:52:07 AM info Output Stream#1 - Audio: ac3, 48000 Hz, mono, 192 kb/s 5/20/2007 12:52:07 AM info Output Stream#0 - Video: mpeg2video, 720x480, 29.97 fps, q=2-31, 8807 kb/s 5/20/2007 12:52:07 AM info MSG Level #1 - Warning min_rate > 0 but min_rate != max_rate isnt recommanded! 5/20/2007 12:52:07 AM info Stream #0.1 --> #0.1 5/20/2007 12:52:07 AM info Stream #0.0 --> #0.0 5/20/2007 12:52:07 AM info Stream mapping 5/20/2007 12:52:07 AM info Set Avg. video bitrate 8807.0 kb/s 5/20/2007 12:52:07 AM warning the input frame rate 1961991/171580 doesn't match the output frame rate(29.97Fps). I take it that it was in sync before conversion? You can try converting it with SuperĀ©, choose mpeg2 as the output container. Or try converting it to AVI. Then run it through DivxtoDVD program again. SuperĀ© converts everything (almost) Information: http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html Download: http://updat1.free.fr/9ABEA26CD500112298DB54FF/SUPERsetup.exe
Thank you for the tips. I will try them and am also looking at Super. I can see I have a lot to study! Thanks again
