I'm trying to burn converted Divx vso files using my Apple. iDVD and Toast aren't recognizing them as DVD files. When I convert the Divx files using Toast or iDVD, the files aren't nearly as compressed--I can only fit 3/5 the data on a single dvd.

Has anyone encountered this problem? Any suggestions?

unfortunately my knowledge is pretty rudimentary on PCs and MACs. I used to just use DivxtoDVD convert, then burn them using Nero on a different PC. Now with the Mac I know even less--not even sure if the file formats are compatible. The only thing I know is that iDVD and Toast have their own conversion software that lets you burn dvds, but it's so "user friendly" that it deletes the conversion after it's completed, and it gives you no control over the compression. To be honest, I'm a little baffled at how three 350MB avis translate to 4 gigs of dvd....
