Hello again. Happy New Year. All is well here. I wanted to send the following just to make sure you did not see anything unusual. I am the guy that had trouble with PestPatrol taking over my browser. Although that problem is gone I am still having on start up a dialog box come up saying "the network resource you are trying to use is on a network unavailable to you." What it looks like to me is there is a file missing (ppsdk.msi). Thanks for your help. tom SmitFraudFix v2.130 Scan done at 11:36:44.21, 06-12-29 Run from C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Download Files\SmitfraudFix OS: Microsoft Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] - Windows_NT The filesystem type is NTFS Fix run in normal mode »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» Before SmitFraudFix !!!Attention, following keys are not inevitably infected!!! Sounds like files have been left over and need to be removed. Reinstall PestPatrol and then, unless you want to keep it, uninstall it. Let me know if that helps.
No it did not work. I downloaded and removed PestTrap. It starts on boot up like it is in the registry. Can you help? Did you see anything at all in the HighjactThis log that I need to delete? Even if it does not have anything to do with the problem caused by PestTrap? Thanks and Happy New Year. Tom
