Hello all Ive been a subscriber to Walmart dvd rentals for about a year now, and just got an email from them saying they will not provide that service after june and that all they members could transfer there accounts to net flix for the same price for a year. I went ahead and transfered. I live in Arkansas and was wondering if anybody in this part of the country could provide an opinion of the netflix service. Im on the 2 out at a time plan and with walmart usauly get 2 movies per week sometimes 3 to 4. Around holidays I get less cause mail dont run.
I have had Netflis for the past three months, I live in Ohio and have had no problems with them. I am on the three movie at a time plan, and I usually get 3 a week, sometimes more depending on how fast the mail is, I live close to the return station so it only takes one to two days for them to get back to Netflix. I have had no problems with Netflix service and they have a super large selection, much better than the Blockbuster service. Hope this helps
hello and good day to all. I've been a netflix member since day one and have never been happy. I have to bragg but when they first started, I had out for one calender year, the movie Three Kings. Don't ask how or why but accidendts happen. They have the best C.S. dept. around and they even an let you know if a certain title will be out long. I'm very happy to say "they're the kings of online rentals." "long live the netflix."
I live near Nashville TN - I get two day turn around if I am lucky. Good service and disks are mostly okay. Only had two ever that were damaged when delivered.
Sounds good. Thanks for the reply. heres some info I found on what has happend between the two companies. http://www.netflix.com/PressRoom?hnjr=8 Sounds like walmart will be promoting netflix on its site and netflix will be promoting walmart on the netflix site.
Hello all Just an update... I have gotten 4 movies from netflix now, and the the service apears to be just as fast or a little faster than walmart was. If monday wasnt a holiday I might get 4 movies next week. I got Hotel Rwanda, Ice Pirates, White Noise, and The aviator. Im in the northeast corner of Arkansas and my movies come from Houston, Texas. I have 33 movies in my queue all are available now. I like the Netflix site alot better than Walmarts plus they have an a$$load more movies. Oh FYI I rent Xbox and PS2 games from a place called numthumb.com in Texas also turnaround is the same.
