I inherited an old custom built desktop (10 yrs old) and would like to rebuild/upgrade it just for the fun of it. I have no clue what it's got inside other than a 233mhz p2 and a tv tuner. How do I find out whats in the box? Is there a program I can run or do I have to open it up? How do I find out if new parts are compatible with old ones etc....? Appreciate all the help.
download & run EVEREST Home Edition v1.51 from this link as it will tell you what you have. also check the motherboard to see what is the make & model of your motherboard. http://www.lavalys.com/products/download.php?pid=1&lang=en&pageid=3
