Hi guys, I'm in th emarket for a new burner, and would like advice on which one would be good to get, unfortunately I only have approx £35 to spend. Would be grateful for any insight that you can give me. Cheers
You can get the Benq DW-1650,very good burner at very affordable price. If you're looking for a lightscribe one,you can have the 1655,same as the 1650 but only with the lightscribe ability. They booktype, burn dual-layer discs, burn +r discs as well as -r discs very well, but do not burn DVD-Ram. If you look carefully in the forum for DVD writers, you'll notice a lot of members using Benq drives.I myself got recommended by some members about the 1650 and i'm actually using one.So that's how i'm recommending you that same burner as i'm fully satisfied with it till now.Another good burner from what i've heard is Lite-on,don't know which particular model because never used it.But you should be ok with the Benq DW-1650/1655.It suits your budget better, plus it's a very good burner(among the best ones in the market, don't get misjudged by it's low price!). Vincent.
