Wants to connect to Internet, never asked for Registration

I just had to re-install DVD X Copy Xpress. For some reason, everytime I start it, it brings up my DSL connection software and seems to not make a copy if it is not connected. Also, it never asked me for my License ID or Password supplied with the CD?

Can anyone assist?
