is it possible for my provider to deviously restrict the pages i can visit to just their homepage? Whenever i try to visit others i get the message "the server is not responding" no matter when i try to visit.

I believe that is possible. Maybe getting your phone flashed with generic software will help you get online.

Depending on the make and model of your phone, you will need to purchase an UNLOCKING CLIP. It goes around for about 200-900$ flashing and unlocking various models.

You can always send it to a professional who has the clip and can do that work for you for a small fee.

    check out www.iunlock.com

    Good luck

Hmm... thanks guys but I don't really trust sending my phone overseas. I love tech and i'd like to get on the wap band wagon but it's not worth it. Maybe when my country pulls its head out it's ass.
