I am planning to buy a dvd burner. I have checked different models and websites and I came up with the Sony DW-U10A as the most suitable one... On www.avlogic.com it's currently sold for $177 and this seems to be kinda affordable. I have a few questions. 1) On www.avlogic.com they say they sell the Sony DW-U10A with 1 year warranty, while on this forum I was reading there's no warranty for this drive. How's that possible? 2) Does anyone know if this drive can burn region free dvd's? 3) What else could I buy that gives me a warranty and region free dvd's? hehe I hope someone can help me. Thanks! 1) If the company sells you something with a warranty, then it has a warranty. 2) I've never seen a drive that won't burn region free DVD's 3) I've also never seen any drive that's worth buying that doesn't come with a warranty.
