warranty

    my warranty is coming to an end in about a month. i hear that ipods breaks a little after a year, so would it would it work if i broke my ipod, got a new one under warranty, and did the same thing every year?

    iPods are designed to last for four years, but varies with usage. Breaking it could get you a new one, but it would likely be the same model as whatever iPod you have now [no free upgrades generally] and you'd have to be careful in breaking it to keep it from looking abused, in which case your warranty is void [cracking the screen is an example]. Also you don't get another year of warranty on the replacement/refurbished iPod they would give you. If you've been taking good care of your iPod then it should last a few more years.

    If your battery life is less then half of what it was originally then you can get a new battery for free, that is worth it.
