    Hi all,

I am using my parents old sky+ box. There is a programme in the planner that featured my brother on tv.

When they closed their account I took their sky+ box as a replacement for my standard box.

The problem is I can't watch the programmes that were already saved on the planner. I assume this is because it's a different viewing card/account than was used to make the recording.

QUESTION: Is there a way to view (or export) this programme?

ps. My parents have since reconnected to sky but I assume this will be a new account and new viewing card so I assume it won't work with their new viewing card.

    Suggestions welcome

you're spot on you wont be able to view it, as the card is paired to the box, and as you only have a standard box you defo wont be able to view it, i would say my opinion you wont be able to view it now at any point.

You've been unhelpful and brutally honest.
    I thank you.
