How would this work if I have a cable internet connection? I quess I could use a splitter. One side going to the external modem and the other to the Card. Would that be correct??
Yep splitter, ATI makes some nice ones. The one I have only goes up too ch 125. It also has alot of other features pending on the one you buy. Mine records tv, its a tv guide, you can record video off your VCR or VHS camcorder etc, useing a/v s-video
I installed my ATI Wonder Elite last night. I can watch 125 channels, record tv, capture video and it has a guide also. So far so good. Now I need to work on the oicture quality. Any good recommendations for a decent graphics card. Maybe around $150.00 give or take. I am not a PC Gamer. By the way what are (pipes). I here this a bunch when graphics are mentioned.
I just wanted to add I just got a graphics card (gforce MX4000 30$ after rebates) Because I was told this should work better then intergrated graphics 2. (I also am not a PC gamer) but I cant notice a differnce at all. I tried disableing my intergrated graphics but it would not let me I guess I have it installed right.(It says I do ) I have one monitor hooked up to intergrated VGA out then another monitor hooked into my G force mx 4000 VGA out. so one monitor should look better then the other correct? Sorry I dont no what pipes are.
