I just got a bunch of PAL (English) videos BUT cannot watch on my video machine.

I have a DVD/VHS recorder by Sony that you can copy VHS to DVD or DVD to VHS.

I want to be able to:
    Watch the PAL videos
    and
I want to copy the PAL videos from the SONY recorder onto a DVD.

    How do I do this??

    Thanks very much

I can't even WATCH the PAL video. The videos (PAL) are from England I believe, and cannot be viewed on my VCR here in the USA.

    Nothing but static, lines, etc.....

So first I want to watch the PAL videos and THEN...
Copy the Pal videos onto DVD.

Alot of my American store bought videos are encrypted (copy right protected), so they cannot be copied onto DVD without being decrypted first.

I just placed an order on line for a "video stabilizer" which decrypts the copyright off of the american video.

So that's the dilemma.........Any advise??? Thanking all in advance.
