So just recently I have purchased these 2products listed below. Black Ice GTX Xtreme 360 Radiator http://www.frozencpu.com/products/5...treme_360_Radiator_-_Black.html?tl=g30c95s161 Bitspower 5.25 Bay Reservoir - Acrylic - UV Blue Seals http://www.frozencpu.com/products/1...ue_Seals_BP-WT525AC-CLUVBL.html?tl=g30c97s168 I have a Coolermaster Cosmos S case, The radiator is going to be mounted on top of the case, and the Reservoir is going into a 5.25 drive bay. Im having a lot of confusion with the fittings and tubings, I have no idea which will fit in the Reservoir and Radiator. Can anyone suggest which fittings I should get? I was thinking of getting the fittings that are able to withstand leaking so I can unplug it when needing to change something.
I would try to find some barbed fittings with matching threads at an auto parts store...if they can hold superheated coolant for 500,000 miles, then they can handle any condition your PC will ever see.
Just bring the parts with you to the parts counter on some day that they are not too busy...they are usually happy to help with custom projects...and they will be able to provide you with matching tubing and hose clamps as well. While you are there, you might consider buying some "Water Wetter" this is an additive for coolant...it makes the coolant a couple degrees cooler...and it works in regular water as well. Also, I would pickup a tube of Permatex "Ultra Blue" RTV...this is the ultimate seal...works better than the rubber seals that come with the parts you bought...it is kind of like having liquid rubber that becomes hard rubber when it dries, so it can't slip out of the way, become dislogged, etc...
