I would like to watermark not the whole avi (XviD) but just a few frames. I have come across VideoCharge, but it seems over-complicated and I cannot find a guide to it. Does anyone know of a tool that will allow me to mark just a few frames at one point of an avi (XviD)? Thanks.
It is. I have reduced it to a 2 cd sized XviD avi and just wanted to put a little brand on a frame in each half - not that you would see it, but just so that it doesn't float where it shouldn't. I don't anticipate it would, but things happen sometimes. I'll check out that pinnacle software but, every time I looked at it before, it seemed even more complicated than VideoCharge, which I have just looked at. It's so easy to brand a whole avi but so hard, it seems, to just brand a few frames.
Found this guide at VideoHelp that explains how to add watermarks using VirtualDubMod. http://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=248307 First part is watermarking the entire video and second part is [bold]custom durations[/bold] for logo / multiple logos. Unforunately, you will have to re-encode the video again or start over if you don't want to degrade the quality.
That looks right, especially the second part, but I fount that Wax (mentioned in the thread) crashes when I try and load my avi file. In VirtualDub(Mod), I end up with a box in white - the size of the background of my bmp, which I thought I had made transparent in photoshop. It might be at the photoshop stage that I did not do something, but I'd just like to put down some initials and so will have to try a bit harder. Ideas?
Beautiful! Afterdawn rocks~! One more question: Instead of a watermark, can you add spinning logos like they have on television? help much appreciated.
