Ok so basically i have The Simpsons seasons and seinfeld seasons saved on an external hard drive in AVI format...

now AVIs can play on my DVD player, but I was wondering if it is possible to create a menu for these AVI files? like a typical dvd menu?

also, on a side note, is there a way to put a specific dvd's menus on a burned dvd? like how on, say, the simpsons, there is like a nice colorful menu with homer or whatever... is there a way to put specific menu's found on the actual dvds onto a dvd, like is there a specific file?

    thanks

    I got very confused here..
First are you trying to create a menu for the dvd or are you trying to create a menu for your avi file.

Well, if you are trying to create a nice menu for your dvd nero 07 will do the trick.

I have not tried menu with avi.

sorry if its confusing... basically i want to create a dvd menu for my avi movies. i know you can to it for dvd-format discs, but i want to do it for avi movies so i can fit 6 on 1 dvd...

heres a sample of what a simpsons dvd menu looks like:

is there a way i can pull those off of the legit DVDs and put them onto my burned dvds, if it is dvd format or not?

    catinahat,

You can convert all your avi format to dvd and burn with your selected menu.... with nero 7
