After having my computer formatted and reloading programs (running windows 98se), I am now getting an error message when I try to use my webcam. Error "webcam already in use by another program". I have systematically shut down programs, checking cam program each time after closing. The error message still appears though. DESPERATE FOR HELP !!!
uninstall webcam program from add/remove in control panel. remove it's folder in the program folder. defrag the hd than re-install the program
Sorry, I omitted to write in my original message, that I had un-installed and reinstalled the program several times. Checking & deleting any reminants of the program - and defraging in between. Thankyou for your reply anyway. Its just got me beat as to what the problem is.
