Thursday, today being monday, i smoked marijuana for the first time in my entire life. i took about 4 hits and i didnt even feel anything. i may have a drug test coming up this next thursday, i weigh about 218 5′ 11 and have an athletic muscualar build. i think what i smoked was dro but im not sure. how long will it take for this to get out of my system to pass a piss test?
previous poster was right.every 6 weeks approx.the concentration of thc in your body cuts in half.so you see it can stick with yu for a long time.
So if the half life of the thc is 6 weeks,ant to remove it by 90 % is about 5 half lives,then till 99% removal is 10 half lives is about 60 weeks (a touch over a year before the point on undetectability in your urine, or equalling the background) So yup, about a year, if you don't add to the thc concentration.

well i just bought and used an at home drug test and its been about 5 days and it was negative so i guess its out of my system =]
what do you mean? This isn't the same drug test they use for schools? It said on the directions if it's negative then there is no trace of thc in your system
You most likely have a screening test. More accurate ones are available to institutions (as schools) You may pass a coarse test, but not a finer test
Schools, jobs, and probation offices all use the same test - NIDA 5. This tests 5 different drugs, including marijuana. It costs too much money for them to send your urine to a lab and it also takes awhile for the results to come back when tested this way. If you aren't a heavy smoker, it usually takes about 7 days for the THC to clear your system.
