    Hi,

i am getting a weird error msg when i try to play any video file (avi, mpg) using Media Player Classic (the one that is bundled with the KLite Codec Pack). I am using the latest version of the player which comes with KLite Codec Pack 2.77.

i am attaching the screenshot so u guys can take a look at the error first hand.

i seem 2 be getting it with only MPC for now, but then again thats the only player i use since it seems to run everythin on my sys.

also, the error doesnt appear every time i try to play a media file, it happens occasionally & randomly without reason. i then have to close the player & play the file again & usually, it plays fine.

but cud anyone plz tell me what it means & how i can rectify it?

ps: i recently upgraded my sys to a brand new Intel Core 2 Duo processor, ASUS board, 1 GB RAM.. if this helps.

    Screenshot not working here.
Looks like klite is using my MPC build. You could have downloaded it from: http://celticdruid.no-ip.com/xvid/ without all the other crap. I really wouldn't recommend installing codec packs. More often than not they just screw things up.

    Hi,

This is the url for the screenshot of the error:
    http://www.freewebs.com/slayer213/Error.jpg

And, it does not seem 2 be a codec issue bcoz i recently formatted my sys, didnt install any codec packs & still got this error. Seems to be more of a Core 2 Duo processor error.

Plz have a look & lemme know wot i cud do 2 patch it!

    Thx.
