well, im trying to burn f1 2006 for the ps2. the thing is, when im extracting the .iso from the rar file i get a message at 97% saying how do i get around this. im trying to do it on my crappy comp. (windos ME) will i have 2 do it on my other comp. (windows XP)
You're gonna have to extract it onto an NTFS partitioned HDD since FAT32 can't handle file sover 4gb but NTFS can. You could just convert your FAT32 to NTFS: it'd be better to do it on the XP anyway in case it has a NTFS HDD. To convert FAT32 to NTFS this is what you do- Standard Windows utility that is called CONVERT serves this purpose Just go to the Command Prompt and execute the command: C:\> CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs Where C: is a name of the drive you want to convert. After machine re-boot conversion process will start and you'll have your FAT32 converted to NTFS without of data loss.
thanx man, i might convert the crappy comps HDD, but i just tried it on my good comp. this afternoon and it works fine. thanx for the tip though
No prob, BTW that game's one HUGE time waster lol, so many bloody things todo before the actual race, it's OK
