What a same you can not start a VERSUS thread as i need help (8000 word assignment blue ray VS HD)

Can anyone let me know who will win the battle between blu ray and hd as i need to complete an 8000 word essay on this topic can any one point me in the right direction?

1. Hd-DVD comes out the door running and takes market share in 2006.

2. Blurays secret weapon the PS3 completely destroys any lead HD-DVD has in Q1 2007.

3. Casino royal hits on bluray and outsell everything.

4. Walmart rumors from a chinese manufactuer says 2 million low cost HD-DVD players in walmart by summer

5. Fox indefinitly suspends its current bluray release shedule.

6. Matrix is announced from warner on HD-DVD but no meantion of when a blu version should be out.

7. Rummor about Universal becoming nuetral debunked by universal as fasle.

8. blueray hold (About, im not going to look it up right now) about 55% market share vs HD-DVD 45% of total disk solds.

9. Universal will have 100 HD titles by summer, more releases than any studio yet.

Something to note as well. AVSFourms buy HD-dvd days or buy blurays days can really skew the figures, showing that over all HD disk addoption is still a niche, and not even close to being addoped by J6P.

Combo players really look like they will be how this war ends. but lets wait and see what this summer holds.
