what are the best batteries to use for the Olympus because it eats batteries like crazy and I'm really looking for a reliable brand to use. I have a Olympus D-595 5.0 megapixel camera.

most quality batteries run out about the same time. you're best off on your wallet by just acquiring some rechargables and a charger. swap them out on the go, charge them in the car or whatever.

Hey! Auslander thats a good tip. I too have an Olympus that takes a CRV3 lithium battery. It can also take two AA batteries in an emergency. Is that what you mean, just buy AA rechargeables and charger?

You learn something new every day on here. Thanks for the link thelox714.

Off on hols! in 8 days so will go to an electronic store this weekend.

Edit Monday 10th. Have got charger and batteries and its probably my imagination, but the camera seems to be quite a bit faster.
