    Hello everyone.

I am working at a company that wants to record videos, and then put them on a website for later viewing. They want a camcorder that uses the DVD's.

What camcorder would be a good buy for me? I am looking at maybe around $600 if possible. I found the Sony DCR-DVD203. I'm not sure how good it is. Any suggestions?

Also, how do the cameras with DVD's work with uploading content to a computer? I have seen that most all of them only have USB ports, and from what I've ready you have to have firewire to upload video. Is this true? How will I get the video up to the computer?

    Thanks.

Why do they want to have a DVD camcorder? If you're not planning to do any editing that is a good choice. However, if you want to upload the movies to a PC, edit them and then burn a DVD, a miniDV camcorder is a better choice. Many people have problems manipulating the video stored on a DVD recorded with a DVD camcorder...
