what can you do after unlocking razr

can anyone tell me what can i do after unlocking my razr what is this for and how can i do it thanks

 

im no good with unlocking of motorolas but unlocking the handset will allow you to use other networks sim cards in the handset. if you bought the handset from carphone wearhouse the handset is more thanlikely unlocked anyways

 

thanks was wondering also if anyone knows how to erase the ringers that come in the razr to get more free space
