i have already burned my movies. some on maxell, sony, memorex media, but when i go back later to record off of these same media sonic record or nero will not recognize these media, but the amazing thing is about a month ago i burning movies off of these same media. can someone tell me what is going on?
It may be an issue with the quality of the media you are using...the brands you list can be hit and miss regarding quality, which includes ease of playback or readability in your burner. I would use Imgburn for burning in the future and implement the "verify" option, this will ensure that the data is burned to your disc and matches bit for bit from the source file(s). If the discs fail to verify there may have been a problem with the mastering of the video and your process needs to be looked at...It may also rule out the quality of media.
