what do the apps in Slayer 2.5 do?

    what do the apps in slayer 2.5 do? such as avalaunch, bioscheck, DVD2xbox, Xbmp XBwatch, Xcommander etc.

    if i could use them it would be nice to know. i loaded new hd with slayers everything is installed and xbox works but i cant use any apps. none of them show up on evox menu. ehat am im doing wrong
