Um, a 700W PSU will support any technology. It's not "designed for SLI", it never was, it doesn't have any magic design features in there that make that happen, it just means it's powerful enough to run SLI, or so they say. What brand is it?

and I guess you were looking not to get any more help from me - you've succeeded.
I've tried to phrase my advice in the most friendly manner possible, but if you don't appreciate that, get your own bloody help.

It must happen a lot, especially with an attitude like that.

Dude seriously, you're gonna get banned soon and you will deserve it. Only a few members here are as active as Sam, and he was pretty courteous about it.

About this "talking down" thing, well he didn't. You just perceive it as that because he gave you advice. Well if you want advice take it, otherwise leave.

I don't give an eff if you guys throw me off.

    This is what he wrote:

"Um, a 700W PSU will support any technology. It's not "designed for SLI", it never was, it doesn't have any magic design features in there that make that happen, it just means it's powerful enough to run SLI, or so they say. What brand is it? "

Starting with "um" pretty much meant he was gonna start talking down to me. then, using the word "magic" made it sound like he thought i was some child.

I have received advice in the past from other users and they have all been nice, even when telling me i had broken the rules or hadn't used the search engine.

I build systems for a living and i was just looking for some insight on this rig.

Jeez man chill out. If he said that to me I wouldn't be freakin' out. Anyway do you want to get back on track?

I think the HDD cooler in unnecessary, it doesn't ever get that hot. If you're spending so much money on it get a proper Conroe C2D. Try a gigabyte Ga-EP35-DS3R, I personally think it's a better motherboard.

You can get that CPU Cooler cheaper at eWiz. That's about it.

I don't see any reason for your attitude ramosfet.

It's alright, you come across a few characters like ramosfet when you've been around at a forum for a while. The sort of people who expect advice as if they're legally entitled to it, and expect to hear only what they want to hear. Typically if they get proven wrong, or are recommended a route they don't like, rather than politely decline it, they scream about it. The sort of people who will ask you something and when you reply, don't thank you, they just ask more and then moan because you didn't answer within 10 minutes. The sort of people who will then go around annoying both other contributors on the site and the moderators over their 'poor treatment'. I used to let it get me down, but to be honest, it really isn't worth getting bothered about.

"Internet - serious business" is what he means. It's just one of several "well look what happened here" sort of posts.
To be honest, I think this thread may as well get closed. I'm done offering this guy advice, and it doesn't look like anyone else has anything to say except "you got burned" or similar.
