what process does DVDXCopy do that macs can't? I mean it stores the dvd on the HD and then splits it into two...why cant somone make a program to do that for the mac, all the things i see for mac is to encode it and stuff, and it takes SO much longer!_X_X_X_X_X_[small]is this my signature?[/small]

What do you mean by split it in two??

split it into two VOB files, Split the AC3 from the M2V, or something else?

to split a VOB I believe you can use final cut pro/express (i don't have this)

to split AC3 and M2V use osex or decoder

no no, it takes one DVD, and puts it onto 2 DVD's if its dual layered, you still get menus and extras, and it does it all for you automatically

I posted that I've had some success in this but the PC way is still simpler
