Hi all, This is my first post on this forum. Can anyone tell me what files i need to delete when i only need the movie from a dvd disk. I am using OSEx to extract the files. A lot of files are included in the extraction and as i'm sure you all know anything over 4.5 g is not possible with the dvd-r disks i'm using. I assume that you need all the big VOB files but i'm not sure about the others. Any help would be grateful. Thanks
You really dont want to delete any of the files, but some are expendible. Usually you can play the dvd without the BUP (backup) files, but you must include all the IFO's. As far as the size of the DVD, you need to get a program like DVD2oneX to format it down. I use it all the time and even on my HD screen, the image still looks sharp so dont worry about quality. Here is a link to the app, it is sharewear, but its worth it!! http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19238
Cheers applemac, i has heard of dvd2oneX but was unsure what application to use as there are a few out there at the moment. It seems a solid application that allows you to choose the whole dvd or just the movie. It worked perfectly first time. Thanks for the feedback!
If the DVD2OneX will work like that on a mac is ther one that will also let me do the same and delete when I only need the movie from a dvd disk I use Microsoft windows XP I do use DVD Shrink with Nero _ _X_X_X_X_X_[small]=Once A Marine Always A Marine:= "From now until the end of the world, we and it shall be remembered.
