    Hey guys,

I have a m2ts file that has DTS MA audio and h.264 video, I would like to store this on my ps3 but it won't play the DTS MA audio, what format (and associated program) can I put it in without losing quality?

AC3 is your next best bet, it wont have all the quality that DTS has but damn close.

Programs to mux DTS to AC3:
    tsMuxeR
    mkv2vob
(not so sure if mkv2vob will take a m2ts file, maybe mux to mkv with mkvmerge)

    zax,

Thanks for the reply, can I get away with going to pcm? My understanding is the PS3 will play that 5.1 audio if it is pcm. I used eac3to for the conversion and will be trying it out today.

Well pcm provided me with a bunch of static, although you could hear the desired audio in the background. I wonder if I should of done lpcm as opposed to just pcm. I think i'm going to just try AC3 like has been suggested, it takes to long to be messing around with this.

If you're hearing static, there's an encoding feature you can change in mkv2vob. Roll over the top note and click on the right hand side.
ALSO - when the video is playing on PS3, try pushing TRIANGLE and going up to audio options. Try changing from the default to LEFT...or something like that. Hard to remember off hand...
