   I've used SmartRipper for some time to rip from standard DVDs (DVD-video).
   
   Will is also rip from other DVD formats, such as DVD-R, DVD+R, etc?

   Hi,
   
   The +/- formats are for burned media and will have no effect on SmartRipper's ability to work with them although backed up movies generally don't have any encryption on them so a simple disc copy will work
