Hello all, Can someone give me some advice PLEASE.... Have burned many DVD disk with no problems using Nero 6.3.1.6. and Dvd shrink 3.1.7.6.and Img burn tool 1.1.4 My system had to be reinstalled windows 98Se do to a glitch that I had. Now I can't get Nero to burn at all on a my home Dvd player which I had no problems before ! home system shows NO DISC. I uninstalled Nero and reinstalled no luck.... Checked and uncheck Dvd rom book type no luck.. Now what do I do ? Please help... I have learned alot through these forums can we do It again..... P.s. after a burn they do work fine on pc.... hi #ok, taking in to consideration you know what your doing! we will get on to other things! have you the latest aspi layer now? cos you have a fresh install of win98se! are your drives set to DMA? also iam slightly surprised you got any dvds to run! due to a FAT32 system win98se? as it hates files bigger than 4gig, arh? you probably dont use iso format? also you say nero wont burn on your home dvd player? how you install it to that? should be on PC?
hi UMMM??? reading again! they work on pc ok? ummm? see i dont use nero v6 only v5 but does it have a setting for UDF/ISO and UDF partiton type v1.02 ??? Thx...
Well as for aspi layer not to sure about these. I went into my device manager and found that I have XMASSCSI SCSI CONTROLLERS showes it's not working properly tried to updater driver but no luck. shows that the driver has been updated but apond reboot still the same so I belive my problem is somewhere along these lines. What file do I need to update ?and where Can I get it ? Thanks Rc
hi there uninstall in device manager and reboot!??? also got to www.adaptec.com and get the aspi layer for your OS win98se! aspi layer is the drivers etc to run cdrom drives!!!
